- Garden Organic Formerly the Henry Doubleday Research Association, Garden Organic is the UK’s main charity for organic growing.
- Headingley Community Orchard
- The Headingley website is a forum for the Headingley community, run by and for Headingley residents. There is a useful list of nearby allotment sites and contact details there.
- Leeds Allotments Federation. LAF (formerly LDAGF) is a voice for allotment gardeners in Leeds. Everyone at Hollin Lane is a member of LAF, and your membership card gets you discounts at some garden centres.
- Leeds City Council Parks and Countryside department has information about Council run allotment sites.
- The National Allotment Society (formerly NSALG) We are all members through L&DGF. The NAS member’s area has lots of useful information and bargains from a range of suppliers. Ask a Committee member for our ID and password.
- NAS Yorkshire, formerly ‘Yorkshire Allotment Gardeners Federation’, protects, promotes and preserves allotments in Yorkshire and Humberside.
- The National Vegetable Society is a UK charity dedicated to growing, study and improvement of vegetables.
- The Northern Fruit Group. Promoting fruit growing in the North of England.
- Office International du Coin de Terre et des Jardins Familiaux is a union of European national allotment and leisure garden federations. In English, too.
